The Island of Prvic is situated in the central part of the Adriatic, close to important air, land and sea routes; on the sailing route between the Nothern and Southern Adriatic, at the Southern approach to the Kornati Archipelago and near the mouth of Sibenik channel.

In the near vicinity of Prvic are some popular tourist destinations, such as the national parks of Kornati, Krka, Paklenica and Lake Vrana. If a visitor wants to visit some of the uninhabited islands in the vicinity, or go fishing in the traditional way, their hosts can arrange it. Everything you need to traverse the island is a pair of walking shoes. Because of its agricultural heritage, the island is criss-crossed with walkways used to access fields.

Another curiosity is the complete absence of car traffic, because of which the island has remained quiet. Everything on the island is a 10 minute walk away and you can easily reach Zlarin, Vodice or Sibenik via the local ferry line. There are numerous festivities on the island during the summer. They include concerts of local traditional singing. The largest summer festivities are the celebrations of Our Lady of Angels and Saint Rocco.
